My name is Carol, I am 48 years old and a single mom to a 20 year old son. I was recently diagnosed with calangio carcinoma (bile duct cancer). It is a fairly rare cancer and they gave me 2 years. I am born and raised in Iowa and live in Omaha. I have never been outside of these two states. I don't have a huge bucket list, I want to see a beach and a mountain. I want to take some trips with my son so that I can create good memories for him. I did everything I had to raise him and could not afford any vacations.

I am not a begging type person or one to ask for help but as I sit and try to plan these trips, I realize that with fitting chemo and other treatments in, plus unable to work, I qualify for disability but that is not much, next summer may be the last summer I have. My son and my friends are my life and we have always talked about places we would go after the kids are grown and we are old.

Anything will help and I completely understand if you are unable.
