Help to Zach Douros family
If you know Zach Douros even a little, you know his smile and his contagious laugh. You probably also know how his family is his #1 priority.
On March 12, 2015, Zach was driving their 2 1/2 year-old little girl to dance when another car ran a red light and crashed into them, causing their car to spin out and then hit a pole.
Thankfully angels were with them that day; Khloe didn't have a scratch on her, but Zach was flown to the hospital in critical condition. His stomach had been pushed up into his lungs and both lungs were collapsed. Everyone who worked on Zach, from the Life Flight to the surgicial team told Zach they didn't expect him to survive.
But he surpassed those expectations, and many others; He is literally a walking miracle today. However, he has a long road ahead of him to full recovery. The doctors are saying a full year of physical therapy and three months of no work. He is currently unable to lift more than a light grocery bag.
With two young kids and a baby due in just a few weeks, you can imagine the stress Zach and Brittany are faced with as medical bills pile up. We would ask you to help in any way that you can. Every dollar counts. Thank you and God Bless.
(The news story got a couple facts wrong. Just Zach, age 30, and Khloe were in the car)
