Hi, my name’s Mimi Fisher and I’m 17 years old. I have recently been selected to represent my country at the RLSS Commonwealth Lifesaving Championships in July at Swansea. I have been lifesaving with RASCALS since I was 8 and I am so proud to see how far I have come and know that all of my hard training has paid off. This will be my first international cap and I’m extremely grateful and excited for this opportunity. However, unlike many sports, lifesaving comes with a severe lack of funding, meaning all athletes will have to provide/source the funding for themselves. All money raised will go towards the costs of training, accommodation, travel, kit and everything else that comes alongside an international competition.
Thank you for your all support and every donation no matter how big or small will help with getting me to Swansea in July
