Our dear friend, Lilly Dougherty has experienced a natural disaster in her first home in Lake Elmo, MN. The rain fall has caused the pond in her back yard to flood into her yard and house, not once but twice this summer. This last time, the water in her basement was over a foot high and they were forced to turn their electricity off and evacuate. She’s been couch hopping with her boyfriend and two cats and has slept in her car to make sure the pumps are constantly running so the water will go down! We hope insurance can help get her home back in live able shape but her deductible is $30,000 before that. Let’s help take a little stress off Lilly during this 4th of July weekend!
