We are Nona Family after an accident in Puerto Rico we need your help to transport and get Diego back to his health he is no able to move half of his body

We are collecting money to support Diego, a teammate who experienced a serious accident at Playa El Escambrón in Puerto Rico. After a successful weekend tournament, Diego jumped into the water and suffered a cervical fracture. Thanks to the quick actions of friends, he was rescued from drowning and transported to Centro Médico in Río Piedras. Diego underwent an eight-hour surgery to repair the fracture and ligaments, and now faces a long rehabilitation process, which includes wearing a custom neck brace and undergoing extensive therapy.

The funds will assist with the medical expenses incurred from the surgery and rehabilitation, as well as travel expenses since Diego must remain in Puerto Rico for seven days before returning home. Your support will help ease the financial burden on Diego and his family during this challenging time, enabling him to focus on his recovery and eventual return home.

Update on Diego from his mother.

They had a rough night because they lowered his morphine dose.

He's desperately trying to get out!

Thank God he slept with his mother, who was there to help him with the aches and pains. Darío (his father) is now with him. Beatriz (his mother) went to sleep to regain her strength.

They took him off the morphine to monitor his progress. They've already spoken with the doctors about transferring him!
