My sister's funeral

My sister, Martha, has been battling cancer for 3 years. She is near the end of her life now, in a nursing home. She is unable to eat without throwing up and is unable to even get out of bed anymore. The family has raised some money for a funeral, but are a litle short of what is needed for her to be buried. She does not want to be cremated, but there is no burial plot for her. We just need enough money for a casket and burial plot and a few other related expenses.

Martha has been a very giving person all her life, helping our mom care for younger siblings as we were growing up and later taking care of her family with her husband and 3 children, all now grown. She has never asked for anything for herself and she has battled her cancer bravely, determined she was going to beat it and to reach her goal of living to be 100. She just turned 70 in March, so that is not going to happen. We want to grant her final request to be buried, not cremated, so we are hoping this fund will help us in that endeavor.
