Nathaniel was born after only 27 1/2 @ 1lbs 6oz. He's a twin and he still very premature. After his 2nd birthday party on June 8th, 2024, he got sick and was admitted to the hospital on June 15th for adenovirus and pneumonia near his home. On Monday, June 17th, he was airlifted to the Texas woman's hospital where he was born and spent his first few months in. By Tuesday, because he had the adenovirus and pneumonia and took over his body he was intubated and heavily sedated. Wednesday, right before he was to get a central line, he coded for 4 minutes and was brought back which was due to bronco spazzing. In the process of chest compressions his left lung was pierced and had to have a chest tube inserted thru of his chest to help the air that was leaking escape. On July 10th he was able to be released from the hospital. A week later, he's back at Texas children's hospital with influenza A which is making it difficult for him to breath on his own and is currently in the ICU on high flow oxygen. Both moms Ashley and Alisha have been staying with him, but also having to be there for his twin brother. With the hospital stay of a month and having to eat, pay for parking, missing work and the hurricane wiping them out of all food, it's been financially hard and is needing help, especially since they are back in the hospital again and not knowing when he will be able to go home, If you can help it will be greatly appreciated.
