Hi, my name is Cera, and I am fundraising for my little brother, Trip.

Trip is 17 years old and will graduate high school this month, May 2022. He attends high school in Loveland, Colorado, and lives in Berthoud with his dad, Frank. Trip was born deaf and has two cochlear implants. He enjoys movies, cooking, baking, art and video games.

In the last two weeks, he has been diagnosed with kidney failure. Trip's kidneys are working at a very low percentage. He needs to start dialysis and will ultimately require a kidney transplant. He has been in the hospital in Denver and was finally sent home today. He has prescription medication he will need to take that is not covered by insurance. He will need treatments and supplies to make sure he stays healthy. Trip will also have to adjust his diet.

The funds will be used for medical bills, medical supplies for treatments, groceries for Trip to start his new diet immediately, and gas money to get to and from appointments. This is a scary time for the family, and we are desperate to make sure Trip has what he needs, so we've decided to reach out to the community. We would be so grateful for anything donated, and we appreciate you all so much.
