Help Kimberley Bush Superfoods Thrive!
Meet Madison, the driving force behind Kimberley Bush Superfoods. As the owner of this extraordinary venture, Madison, along with her deeply connected Indigenous family from the Kimberley, is on a mission to breathe new life into the remote town of Wyndham. Their dedication shines through their work in producing bush foods and medicines, but it hasn't been without its trials. From costly processing to unexpected setbacks, this year's destruction of the Fitzroy River crossing bridge, which restricted their access to make the trip to Albany, and a lack of support has had an immeasurable impact on the business. Currently, Kimberley Bush Superfoods undertakes a challenging 3,520km journey for food processing, putting a strain on their resources. Nevertheless, their determination to make their dream a reality is truly admirable."
In addition to her work in revitalising Wyndham, Madison is also the author of two remarkable books that delve into the world of bush medicines and bush foods. Now, she's reaching out for your help to conquer these challenges and pave the way for a thriving future. Join Madison and Kimberley Bush Superfoods on their inspiring journey of resilience and growth.
While the $100,000 doesn't cover all our needs, it's an incredible start, and your support, even as small as the cost of a $5 coffee, can make a world of difference. Your contribution plays a vital role in securing their future, generating employment, and safeguarding their cultural heritage.
"With a target of $100,000, we aim to establish local manufacturing, reducing the strain on resources, all while remaining dedicated to our mission. Our small business is committed to providing valuable employment opportunities in the food industry for the residents of Wyndham and attracting tourists back to the port town. Here, they can enjoy our native foods collected and prepared by locals in our coffee shop."
Every dollar you contribute has a significant impact, empowering us to uplift those with dreams of becoming chefs in this field. Join us in supporting this remarkable family's quest to rejuvenate their hometown and preserve the invaluable legacy of bush foods. Together, we can make a lasting impact.
