Help Elderly Victim After Hurricane Helene's Impact

My name is Brittany, a Texas resident and granddaughter of Barbara "Bonnie" Utz. My elderly grandmother, like many others, is a victim of Hurricane Helene. She is a resident of Redington Shores, on the coast of Tampa Bay, FL.

There are many in need; this we knew to expect with natural disasters, but the extent of the damage was beyond what locals had anticipated in Pinellas County. She has never been impacted this severely in their area in the last 70+ years.

We are asking for your generosity and compassion. She has lost her car and her home is damaged by the flooding which came into the house beginning at 6:00 PM, then continued to rise. With everything inside under feet of water, she has no dry clothes, no temporary living arrangements, and will need funds in this quest to recover. Even with insurance coverage, deductibles need to be paid.
