Rainey is a large St. Bernard and Great Pyrenees mix and was brought into the County Shelter as a stray. She came in with an injury to one of her back legs and spent about 6 months there with no medical help. I fostered her to get her out of the stressful situation of the shelter and to get her medical needs assessed. I've taken Rainey to my Vet and was told she needs to have a $5,500 surgery on her right knee. She is now showing signs of issues with her other leg which will probably need treatment as well. Since being in our home Rainey has bonded with her new family, Pitbull brother and Australian Sheppard sister and is now a permanent member of the pack. She loves playing with toys and hanging outside with the gang. She is a playful gentle soul and has been a joy to have around. I love her very much and need help giving her a chance at her best life.
