Help Christina Honor Her Mother's Memory

Dear Family, Friends, and Supporters,

On Friday, I lost the woman who gave me life—my mother. She shaped my heart, nurtured my spirit, and fought fiercely to ensure I became the person I am today. Just a few months ago, I also lost my father suddenly to cancer—only 30 days after his diagnosis. His passing left a hole in our family that can never be filled. Losing both of my parents in such a short time has been devastating beyond words.

My mother had been comatose from December 19, 2024, until her passing, battling serious health issues. During that time, she suffered multiple strokes and, in her final days, endured several heart attacks. She fought with all her strength to stay with us, and I fought right beside her—hoping, praying for a miracle. Especially after losing my father, I longed for her recovery. Although she never knew of his passing, I truly believe she felt the emptiness of his absence. They were inseparable best friends, soulmates, and her world revolved around the love they shared. As much as I wanted her to stay, I find peace knowing they are now together again, resting in God’s eternal care.

My mother was a woman of incredible resilience, love, and generosity. She touched countless lives through her kindness and selflessness. She was so proud of the family she built and the life she led, and I know she would want a farewell that reflects her grace and dignity.

For the past six months, I have been the sole caregiver and provider for both my parents—juggling hospital stays, doctor’s appointments, and caregiving responsibilities, while still raising my young daughter, who is now grieving deeply alongside me. Since last year, with both of my parents unable to work, I’ve taken on the full weight of their medical, housing, and daily living expenses. This journey has taken an emotional and financial toll, and I’ve fallen behind on bills while missing work to be there for them.

Now, I’m asking for your help.

Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help me give my mother the peaceful, dignified farewell she deserves. Your support will also help cover remaining medical bills and ease the financial strain of these devastating and unexpected losses.

If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this message and keeping my family in your thoughts and prayers. Your kindness, love, and support mean more to me than I can ever fully express.

Thank you—from the bottom of my heart.

With deep gratitude,

Christina
