Cursed is a junior thesis short film at CU Denver. A horror/dark comedy Cursed, follows a 20 year-old intern (Dionne) as she goes through the next twelve hours of her life, just trying to get by. Will she end the day unscathed? Or will someone lose their head?

Exploring themes of female rage, Cursed, is an in depth look of women of color and the emotions that they experience. In society, women of color and more specifically black women's emotions are always seen as aggressive, or dramatic, making us quickly learn we must be seen as docile and non threatening. This film dives into the harm keeping it all in can bring as well.
