Meet Rebecca, Becca, RK2...Rebecca is one of the funniest, down to earth, happiest person I have ever met. She also is one of the easiest people I have ever had the pleasure of talking with. Rebecca and I are not friends but acquaintances. I haven't seen her in over 3 years but we are FB friends, so now and again I get to see snapshots of her life. I've learned through these snapshots that she loves her Dad, her Dog, squirrels , hats and her friends. A few days ago I saw a new snapshot of her life, one that she will battle fiercely, one that will change her life. Rebecca has cancer. True to Rebecca style she is taking on this horrible journey with humor and grace. Rebecca has started a hilarious but also eye opening blog about her journey. It's only been 3 days of entries and I am hooked like it's my favorite book. So why am I starting this go fund me account? Because she deserves it. Period. No one should have to battle this without the support of our family, friends and aquantinces. Because no one should have to battle something so overwhelming and also have to struggle to make ends meet. Rebecca may not need this, I wouldn't know, what I do know is that if she doesn't she will use it for others that do. We donate to causes everyday, people we don't know, so let's help someone we do know.
