For those in our community and lifestyle who want to help us from afar!

We have set up an anonymous page to help fight the cancer that is back in my son for a second time. NO ONE should have to go through cancer one time, let alone twice!!!

And no one should have to learn lessons from the first time of dealing with cancer, but learn we did. We were naive when we first battled leukemia. We had no idea, even with insurance, how much debt we would sink into. My son was first diagnosed 2017 and went into remission 2019. We are still climbing out of debt from back then. Having to battle this a second time? To say we are overwhelmed is an understatement.

This time because of my son's in between child and adult age and the complication and beurocracy that is insurance, he was dropped and we are desperately trying to get him insured again. This time around we lost not only my income for our household as RK stepped into full time caretaker mode, but our son lost his income as well. And to add to the already huge amount of stress, both RK's car and our son's car broke down in the same week so we have had to pivot like mad in order to procure new reliable transportation.

Not only that, but this time our son will need a bone marrow transplant. This will be the measure that could possible save his life because the chance for remission is already lowered substantially in those who have already gone into remission once. Basically, this is our last chance to kill this cancer and reset his body. A transplant means a donor and finding a perfect match. It also means we have to have insurance or money to move forward in any of his treatment. No steps towards finding a match can be made till we make headway in that department.

We are doing everything on our end to make that possible. Talking to all the people, filling out all the forms, making all the phone calls, researching all the avenues. In the meantime, we need to fundraise to keep our family afloat.
