Hiya! I am aiming to raise money for the RNOH (Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital) where Ben has been spending the last few weeks recovering. Since his surgery to remove his tumour, Ben has been recovering at an incredible speed with such optimism and courage, that we can’t keep up with him! It has been, and undoubtedly will be, a rollercoaster of a journey especially with the recent news that the cancer has spread, but with love and patience there is no doubt that Ben will be sprinting the London Marathon soon :))
A huge thank you is owed to the staff at RNOH from surgeons to healthcare assistants to physiotherapists for all their help and hard work, which is why I have chosen the RNOH charity to fundraise for. They have given us so much, it’s time to give something back to them, and of course to Ben. He is full of joy and love which has never stopped during his time at hospital. Not even cancer can take away his positive attitude and incredible sense of humour (yes, I do admit that you’re funny).
Lastly, but certainly never least, a massive thank you to Vickie and Adrian for all the past, and future, journeys up to London everyday and their unwavering support. (And of course the evening takeaway dinners).
I, and everyone else, want you to know, Ben, that you are not alone in this which is why I have decided to shave my hair for you and RNOH and I ask everyone kindly to donate whatever amount you can. Even a little goes a very long way!
We love you <3
