My name is Bobbi Krippner and I am starting this fundraiser for the Perez Family.

On Thanksgiving Day, Gabe Perez went to the Emergency Room for some symptoms he was experiencing. He was consequently admitted after finding out he had experienced a stroke.

He was hospitalized for over a week. After many tests, he learned that a poorly functioning aortic valve was the primary cause of this stroke.

He will need open heart surgery to replace his heart valve. He is scheduled for this complex surgery on January 16th, 2024. His recovery will be a long one as It is anticipated he will spend 7-10 days in the hospital, followed by several months recovering at home with limited activity.

He will be unable to work during this time and his family; his children, Luke (10), Owen (7) and Teddy (2) will depend on Erica's (spouse) income and the support of family and friends. Their out of pocket costs will be extensive. Your thoughts, prayers, and healing wishes are very much appreciated during this time.
