Friend in need

Brittney and her family recently lost everything and she doesn't know we are doing this but we would love any help. We are trying to get her parents to be able to come to her college graduation like they originally planned. As many parents dream of watching their child walk across the stage, we hope to make this dream come true for them. Thank you in advance for your help. The money will go towards all of their travel expenses.

Update: First and most importantly, I want to thank my friends for caring so deeply about me and my family that they created something like this because they know that no matter how bad things get I wouldn’t have the courage to ask for help myself because nobody wants to ask for money and nobody wants to be the person who needs help that bad.. and I know my family doesn’t want to have to ask for help or take anyone’s money either, they work so hard for what we have, they’ve struggled but somehow found a way, and I admire how selfless they truly are and how every obstacle has been overcome somehow someway. We never want to be a burden or a cause of worry for anyone.. but with that being.. I also know the difference just asking can make, I know how much people truly care, I know
how a little bit can add up and that anything helps. And I know that no matter how bad it hurts to
have to ask for help, that struggling all alone hurts a lot worse. I know my sweet and gracious friends asked for this to be a way for my parents to attend my graduation in TN as they’d been saving up for it, but truthfully.. I ask that anything anyone donates to this goes to my parents and brother for rent and groceries etc. because although all of our money from each of our accounts has been drained completely, I worry most about them. They lost far more than me, they have more bills than me, bigger bills than me, rent is so much more and I know I will always have a roof over my head because I have so much support in TN. I know I will be okay somehow, but I don’t know if they will. They’re going to be heartbroken that I shared something so personal that happened to us, or that we have now reached a point where all we can do is ask for help, but I’d rather them be upset with me than not ask for this help. So I thank you all in advance for your thoughts, prayers, donations, advice, anything and everything. I would have nothing without my parents and brother... and knowing everything they’ve saved up, everything they work so hard for has been completely drained to zero without a care breaks my heart for them.
It is amazing to me that it is even legal to leave a family with absolutely nothing, but here we are. Staying positive throughout this is going to be the only way to get through this.
It sure doesn’t feel real but unfortunately it is, but God is also real, His plan for us is real and prayers have power. I know God wouldn’t have given us this battle if we weren’t capable of handling it, so thank you to anyone and everyone. Prayers are greatly appreciated.
