My uncle Rajendra Joshi, aged 62 years has been diagnosed over a week ago with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), a type of blood and bone marrow cancer. He is also suffering from pneumonia which is hampering his treatment for AML.  He went through the first round of chemotherapy after he was diagonosed and has to undergo various medications, radiations and chemos to help improve his condition. He is currently hospitalized and is being treated for pneumonia and cancer both in Nepal.

This has been very shocking news to all of us and we are going through a difficult time for not being able to help someone we love and care about. The prognosis for his recovery depends on the response to treatment and we are trying our best to raise funds to meet his medical expenses.  We are hoping that all of you can help us in supporting his treatment to fight the cancer.
