Help 2-Year Old Noah Fight Aggressive Brain Cancer

Donation protected
Our sweet 2-year old nephew, Noah, is currently fighting for his life against an extremely rare and aggressive brain cancer. After four emergency room visits in Reno, due to abnormal behavior and rapidly declining health, doctors discovered a large mass on Noah’s brain through a CT scan. Because Reno’s medical facilities weren’t equipped to handle such a serious condition, Noah and his mother, Valeri, were care-flighted to UCSF Medical Center for emergency treatment.

Following brain surgery, Noah was diagnosed with Atypical Teratoid/Rhabdoid Tumor (AT/RT), as an aggressive form of brain and spine cancer. This incredibly rare condition affects approximately only 73 people annually in the United States.

The entire family now faces a long road ahead. Noah will be undergoing an intensive treatment plan in San Francisco which will span 9 months to a year. It will include high-dose chemotherapy, stem cell therapy and radiation treatments. This demanding protocol will require Noah and his parents, Kile and Valeri, to spend weeks at a time at UCSF, hours away from their Reno home.

Kile and Valeri are both self-employed with no paid leave available. Kile has been forced to close his business completely to care for Noah and his four-year-old sister, Zoey, while Valeri will maintain her current employment with Ferrari-Lund and will have assistance when needed from her understanding and compassionate colleagues. The family is now facing overwhelming medical expenses along with regular travel and housing costs as they split their time between Reno and San Francisco. They have lost income during this critical time and will both be faced with the emotional toll of supporting Noah through cancer treatment while caring for their sweet daughter Zoey.

Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference for Noah and his family during this difficult time. Kile and Valeri are devastated by this diagnosis but remain hopeful and determined to overcome this challenge. Your support, whether through donations or sharing this page, will help ease their financial burden so they can focus entirely on what matters most – getting Noah the treatment he needs and supporting him through this difficult journey. Let’s get Noah back out on his bike, and being forced to play dolls with Zoey!

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers for Noah and his family.
