A beloved member of our Plaza Family and her husband are in need of assistance. Our beautiful friends had to quit working in order to both get the medical treatment that’s needed. Any donation, no matter how big or small, would greatly be appreciated to offset medical bills and the basic necessities that they will need. I thought I was going to lose my whole immediate family this week. In the past 7 days, we’ve been tested to infinity.

On Friday, my mom was diagnosed with lung cancer following months of severe discomfort.

On Saturday, my dad (who some of you know has been battling pancreatic and prostate cancer off and on in the last decade) had emergency surgery due to his cancer spreading and causing internal bleeding.

As of today, everyone is thankfully home resting and admittedly just trying to process everything that we’ve endured.

It’s hard to understand what and why these events have happened to my family. But the one thing for sure is that the Borlandoes are fighters and we will get through this together.
