My older sister Casey was diagnosed with cervical cancer, and we recently found out it has spread to her blood vessels. She has already undergone a surgical procedure, which has caused her to be off work earlier than we expected. She still has to get a full-body MRI to see if the cancer has spread elsewhere. Soon she will have to start 8 weeks of chemo and radiation daily. Her treatments will be a 45-minute drive there and a 45-minute drive back. Her doctor suggested her staying in a hotel for those 8 weeks; unfortunately, that is not affordable for many people, and we’re not able to do that. Casey also has 2 little girls she does not want to leave for two months. She’s going to need a lot of support and prayers during this time.
