My name is Katie Stager. I am a survivor of domestic violence and attempted murder. In 2010, my ex-husband tried to kill me . He will be released December 4th of this year and I would like to get a non-lethal protection and a good security system put in my home. I do work and have been at the same job for over 25 years; I just can't afford to get everything together by then on my own. I didn't want to have to ask for help from family and friends, but I'm terrified and would like to feel safe and not have to stop my life because of him.
