RJ need your help!! Insurance won't pay the bills

Hi my name is Jairo, I'm fundraising for my friend and coworker, Richard Lankford and his wife Lauren. Their son, RJ, 2 years old, has been battling an unknown illness the last year and a half. RJ has been taken to the hospital over half a dozen times, has seen multiple specialists and has undergone multiple tests to diagnose what is ailing him to no avail. Just as recent as Thanksgiving, RJ was rushed to the local emergency room in serious condition. The ER had no answers and could only stabilize him. He was recently transferred to Luries Children's Hospital in hope that they have facilities and expertise to get a diagnosis to help him get better. Unfortunately after a day of testing at Luries, Blue Cross Blue Shield of IL HMO stopped everything, saying it cost too much, and sent the family home with incomplete testing. This is not a surprise, as BCBS of IL has not cooperated with Richard and Lauren every step of the way. RJ doesn't have time to wait for BCBS to get their act together, he needs that testing to find out what's wrong and get on the road to recovery.
