RJ Del Rosario’s Hope 4 Cancer

Donation protected
RJ needs our help! As his community, let’s give him the chance to live a longer life for his family, most especially for his wife and two young children.

The family is going to try a holistic alternative approach in treating his cancer. The plan is for RJ to be transported to Mexico at Hope 4 Cancer. He will be given all natural and healthy diet, hyperbaric oxygen, B-17 infusions and physical/mental support in order to provide healing for RJ. This is important for the family, because RJ is a fighter and he is not giving up on his fight with cancer, whatever it takes!

RJ was diagnosed with Glioblastoma on January 2016 after experiencing a seizure. He was rushed to the ER where they conducted tests and determined that he had Stage 4 cancer. First operation was on Feb 2016 where 77% of the tumor was removed. The doctors at UCLA did not give hope for RJ and his family, but they didn’t want to just accept that. The family got a second opinion from a different doctor and a different hospital afterwards, as a result RJ had another operation March 2016. During the second operation Dr. Badie was able to remove 99.9% of the tumor. Thankfully for two years he lived a normal life with no symptoms of the cancer.

Unfortunately, the MRI test that was done in Feb 2018, 2 years after he was first diagnosed showed the growth of a new tumor on his right side. He started immunotherapy clinical trial (Car-T Cell Immunotherapy) to treat the tumor. June 2018, they discovered that the immunotherapy was not working, the tumor had grown larger and more tumors were noticeable on the MRI, so they tried another treatment. He was on Chemotherapy with Avastin and received just 1 session when he was admitted to City of Hope ICU on Friday, Sept 14, 2018.

RJ was admitted to City of Hope ICU because he lost consciousness when he was being admitted just for observation on Friday. Right now he is responsive, he responds on command by giving us thumbs up and squeezing our hands. We are just waiting for him to fully wake up, then we will take the next step, and that is to bring him to Mexico for this alternative treatment. Time is important. Please help us achieve our goal.

RJ is willing to fight this disease. He wants to stay to see his children grow up. Please help us, please help RJ fight this disease.

God Bless you All!
