Help Mariyah live life again
Hi, my name is Nicole and I am Mariyah’s mom.
This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. I’ve always been private, but I felt God put it on my heart to ask for help to lean on community during this time.
On April 16th, around 9:54 p.m., my 26-year-old daughter Mariyah full of life, love, and dreams was hit by a car while crossing Bruce B. Downs Blvd in Tampa, Florida. She suffered a severe traumatic brain injury and had to undergo emergency brain surgery (craniotomy), along with multiple fractures to her body and face. Since that night, she has been in the ICU, fighting for her life.
Every day is uncertain. Some days bring small signs of hope, and other days are incredibly hard. We are holding on to faith and believing for a miracle but we know this will be a long and difficult journey. Mariyah is more than just my daughter she is a mother, a sister, and an aunt. She is deeply loved, and anyone who knows her knows the light she brings into people’s lives. We need her here with us. As we stand by her side, the reality of medical bills, surgeries, therapies, and long-term care is becoming overwhelming. The costs are rising faster than we can manage on our own. We are asking for your help.
Any donation no matter the amount will go directly toward Mariyah’s medical care, rehabilitation, and the support she will need during recovery. If you’re not able to give, we ask that you please keep her in your prayers and share this page.
Thank you for standing with us, praying with us, and supporting us during this unimaginable time. Your love means more than we can ever express. Stay Blessed.
