Hi,
My name is Valerie Van Horne and since 2014, I have promoted and supported Iowa Creatives from all disciplines through two projects, 1) River City Art and Music (website , Facebook and Instagram ) and 2) Riverview Artist Salon (Facebook , Instagram and regularly scheduled events). Eighteen Riverview Artist Salon's have been held to date, I have fully funded both of these projects.
Your financial support will help pay for costs associated with Riverview Artist Salon for 2020 (see below) as well as provide evidence of interest in my projects for a fiscal sponsorship application process with a nonprofit organization.
Riverview Artist Salons in 2020 will take place at xBk Live , 1159 24th Street in the Dogtown/Drake Neighborhood of Des Moines, Iowa. xBk is a newly renovated state of the art, 250 capacity small performing arts venue dedicated to musicians, performers, and artists that strive to present adventurous and engaging work. I am confident that Riverview Artist Salon's held in this venue will exceed my mission and goals.
MISSION
To elevate the status of Creatives living in our cities and state and to provide a center for networking, public engagement, new ideas, personal development and artistic growth.
