The River Festival has been a much loved event in our local community with a long history. Making it happen again is a project that the Macleay Valley Arts Council has taken on board. To pay for all of the things that are needed around $40,000 will be required. We already have some support from the Kempsey Shire Council and are hoping to get more from larger sponsors. Any excess funds raised by this gofundme will be put towards making the festival happen in subsequent years.

The event will be held on the 5th of September 2026 after the regular Riverside Markets and run from 12 noon till 10 pm with mainly local original music and various displays and events. Your help will enable the festival committee to make the event an enduring fixture for the community into the future.
