Riverside Inn Fire Fund

The Riverside Inn my brother, Christopher, worked at got taken by a devistating fire.  The thing you may not know, is that this beautiful, historic Inn was not only his place of work, but the place he called home and treated as home.  He worked as the maintenance  manager and kept ALL of his belongings in this garage pictured above.  He lost everything, things that were sentimental to him, things that can't be replaced, but I thought we could help replace the things that can be bought.  He and his co-workers (our cousin Brent and their friend Tyler) have been working over the years to revamp the beautiful Inn and were using their own tools and buying tools as they went.  They lost ALL of these tools, as simple as screwdrivers.  They have been receiving offers for work and people needing help with things, but they can not even take on these offers becuase of losing all of their tools.  I realize the cost of all these tools will be a lot to replace, but if everyone can even help even a little, it will go a long way. I truly appreciate it and I know my brother and his co-workers/ friends will too.

"Heartbroken, devastated, lost, confused, empty: these words can't even begin to describe what I feel right now..this is pretty much the only thing left standing on the property- the maintenance garage where myself and my two best friends spent 7 days a week for the last 3+ years hanging out, learning, growing, and most importantly working trying to overcome (at times) seemingly impossible obstacles to keep up with the beautifully amazing and somewhat cranky 132 year old Riverside Inn.  She continuously taught me things I never could've imagined in my wildest dreams, introduced me to so many awesome people and situations, and gave me the most fulfilling opportunity I've ever known- and for that I will be forever grateful. I don't know where we'll go from here but I can't wait to continue this journey and find new ways to carry on her legacy."
