- Hi my name is Ritchie Hickey and I'm fundraising to help cover the costs while I'm off work on compassionate leave. My wonderful wife Beverley was unfortunately diagnosed with terminal Cirrosis of the liver and has been given months to live . We are devastated by this diagnosis. We don't have long together so I'm trying to ease the financial burden of medical costs, lost money due to being on Ei, funeral costs, and paying my benefits while I'm off work. My wife Beverley has a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. We've done fundraisers for numerous people over the years and now we are reaching out in this time of need for any help we can get. Anything helps. She is listed as at home palliative care and I'm her caregiver. Her liver is failing and I don't know how much more time we have. It's a stressful time we are still processing this news.
