On Monday, April 5th three of the Risner kids were riding their bikes near their home and were hit by a car that fled the scene.  One suffered minor injuries but is doing ok. 

Two of the children, Landen (13) and Roman (6) were hospitalized.  Roman suffered a femur fracture and just completed surgery with plates and screws on April 6th.  
Landen is currently hospitalized in the PICU in critical condition with a severe brain injury.  He is sedated on a ventilator.  The family is waiting for updates by the minute.
