Seeing the devastation caused by the recent earthquakes in Venezuela has been heartbreaking. We know that rebuilding Venezuela will take years.
We created Rising for Venezuela because we want to help beyond the immediate disaster. Once the world's attention moves on, thousands of children will still need support. Many have lost parents, their homes and their support system and are now left without anyone to care for them. These children need protection, education, and hope. They are the ones who will need to rebuild their country.
To make sure every donation goes where it is needed most, we carefully chose this trustworthy organization that is already making a difference:
- Hogar Bambi, which provides shelter, education, and care for children and teenagers at high risk of abuse or abandonment.
We will also be updating this fundraiser with receipts from the organization as to where the money is going. With Hogar Bambi you are able to sponsor a child and help support them despite not being with them.
We know we can't reverse what has happened, but we hope that, together, we can make a difference in the lives of children who need it most. Thank you for helping us bring hope to Venezuela, one child at a time.
