Rising From The Ashes: Wright-Sheppard Family
Donation protected
Last week, The Wright-Sheppard family's apartment building was a part of a vicious fire that tore through their building. Though grateful and blessed to be physically safe and unharmed, they are now without a home. It will take a minimum of six months for their apartment to even be livable again. The family must now go through the process of finding another place to call home temporarily and permanently in addition to replacing all that was lost in the fire.
Keyonn, Sr, Takeesha and Keyonn II are selfless members of the community, working tirelessly volunteering their time and skills to so many initiatives devoted to bettering the lives of others. Please show them that they are loved and appreciated by us for all that they do and help them piece back together their lives by donating. Proceeds will go to finding a temporary and new permanent home base and replacing what was lost in the fire.
Please also join us at a fundraiser on Saturday, March 21st from 6pm to 10pm at Cheri's Bedstuy (216 Malcolm X Blvd, Brooklyn, NY 11221). Door proceeds and a portion of restaurant purchases will go to the family.
