Courtney was in a house fire on April 3. She was pulled from her home and her heart had stopped. Firefighters did CPR and got her back. She was then life flighted to Vanderbilt where she was to be taken off of life support on Tuesday, April 4, after her family was told she was basically brain dead. In preparation for this, final testing was performed and Courtney had responses. On Wednesday, April 5, she woke up but there is still a very long and unsure road ahead of her.
*Update* 4/9/2023- Courtney is currently on Ecmo because her body could not keep up. Her lungs are basically saturated so they are not able to produce the oxygen her body requires. Plans to hopefully remove her trache tube are still being considered. At this time everything is on hold until Courtney’s body can catch up.
This fire tried to take much more than physical possessions but God had other plans. Courtney is in the hospital FIGHTING for her life and we are simply trying to remove some of the financial burden from this tragic situation. In the fire, Courtney lost everything including her 3 dogs that she loved like her own kids.
Please consider donating to help ease some of the stress and worry. If you can’t donate then please continue to pray for her! God has already performed a miracle with her and we as her family could never be thankful enough for Gods mercy and grace.
God bless you all!!
