Hello. My name is Rochelle Wolf and I am fundraising on behalf of my beautiful daughter Allison and her wonderful fiancé Mbusi.
On July 29, 2023, Allison and Mbusi started their new adventure on the road to Bellevue Washington. Mbusi, a programmer for Walmart, had recently been transferred. With the dynamic duo of Mocha and Bean, their beloved fur babies, they left with everything they own for the trip up north. Although it wasn't their first choice to leave California, this was a great opportunity for both of their careers.
On Tuesday, August 22, 2023, Allison and Mbusi came home after work to a shocking sight. Their apartment was on fire. Although the fire is under investigation, it is believed to have been electrical. (Please note this is not due any Wildfires that may have been in the area)
Allison and Mbusi lost literally everything in the fire, including their beloved fur babies, Mocha and Bean. They are beyond devastated. We are so grateful that Allison and Mbusi are safe, but their fur babies were family and they are at a loss.
With no family or friend support in Washington (they had been there less than a month), they are relocating back to Southern California to try and rebuild their lives with a fresh start. Mbusi's parents, Ben and I have tried to get them started, with basic necessities, a few clothes and toiletries, as they are really starting from scratch.
I am asking for anyone who can to please donate what you can to help this wonderful young couple rebuild their lives. The funds will be used to get them clothes, food, linens, dishes, furniture, and other household things needed to rebuild their home together. Although some of the sentimental items can never be replaced, my hope is that replacing some of their belongings might help ease some of the stress they are under. Typically during difficult times, people seek solace in their home and their family. In a few short hours, they lost both.
Thank you so much for your consideration to help my daughter Allison and her fiancé Mbusi.
UPDATE: I just waned to thank everyone who donated to Allison & Mbsui. They have used some of the funds to buy some clothes and necessities that they lost in the fire. It's the small comforts, a favorite shirt, a comfy blanket, that are helping them cope with the loss they have experiences. Thank you again. It means so much that so many friends love and support Allison & Mbusi!
