‏Rising from rubble: Support Hamada and family to stay safe

I come to you with an urgent plea straight from my heart. My family and I are in dire need of your support, and time is of the essence.

Before the specter of war loomed on our horizon, I dreamt of a promising future. I was studying Information Technology at Palestine University and working as an executive manager in a local company. Life was beautiful with my family of six, in a peaceful home filled with the warmth of family and the laughter of friends.

But in a blink of an eye, my dreams turned into nightmares. I lost four of my dearest friends, and another was wounded, his fate unknown after the injury.

My family and I have been in continuous migration for over half a year, hoping to find a stable shelter. We've lived in five different places, and the pillows we now sleep on embody our turbulent journey, as we move from place to place due to war, hoping to stay alive.

We are now in Rafah city, where dozens of days have passed, and each day the fear and anxiety of possible evacuation due to the ongoing war grow. We have no other place to escape to, and the high costs of travel have made the situation even more desperate.

What will the funding be used for?

This funding will be used to travel to Egypt for me and my family until the end of the war, to salvage what remains of our dreams and aspirations.

Why did I decide to start a fundraising campaign?

My family and I, for over half a year of war, have had no stable source of income. Our company headquarters were destroyed, work was suspended, and during this half year of war, we've had very high living expenses due to chaotic price increases and continuous displacement from one place to another. Our city, Khan Yunis, has been greatly destroyed, and we don't even have anything to sell to cover the extremely high travel costs.

How will the travel be done, and is it safe?

Travel will be through the Rafah land crossing, which connects us to Egypt, coordinated with Hala Company, an official company currently coordinating exits from Gaza through the Rafah crossing. As for safety, travel is secure so far, but if the Israeli army enters Rafah, it won't be safe, and there may not be the possibility of travel. That's why my plea for urgent donations.

How will this funding be transferred, and how much will the family need for travel?

The money will be received into Irene Romero's personal account, then transferred to Hala Company through known financial transfer methods like PayPal. The rest will be received by the Hamdan family upon arrival in Egypt.

Hala Company receives $5,000 per person for coordination for those over 18 years old

$5000 * 4 people = $20,000

Hala Company receives $2,500 for those under 18 years old

$2500 * 2 individuals = $5000

The family also needs $5,000 in expenses to settle in Egypt: clothes, services, rents, etc

In addition to the $5,000 fee for the team managing this campaign, it also includes money transfer fees and transfer commissions.

The total the family will need is $35,000
