Rising from the Ashes - "Barn Raiser" for Aaron
Donation protected
We, Betty Quigley, Julie Colwell and Jules Afflerbaugh, have teamed up to raise funds for our great friend Aaron Taddiken to begin rebuilding his home and structures on his property, (thus the name "Barn Raising"). Aaron is our a co-creative program partner in leading workshops and programs for groups and individuals from Boulder and the surrounding area (EPI and old BC3). His property sits on a bluff on the east side of Marshall. On Dec 30, 2021 something unexpected happened. The first embers of the Marshall fire in Boulder, CO hit his property before the evacuation orders were even sent out. Aaron is safe, but his home and all structures on his property were destroyed. Aaron was in the midst of renovating and creating more
spaces to share with the community for trainings, workshops and experiences of the heart, but the dream came crashing down into a pile of ash.
His generosity of spirit and his open-door attitude touch many from our community and beyond. His joy for living is evident in each interaction and the love of his beautiful home and land apparent throughout his shared haven. In the spirit of a “Barn Raising”, let’s come together in collective action to support Aaron in rising from the ashes. Let’s help Aaron raise his “barn” by contributing to this go fund me campaign.
