Rising Above the Flood: Support Oneida's Class of 2026

Help Make the Oneida High School Class of 2026 Senior Year Unforgettable.
On June 22, 2025, Oneida High School suffered a catastrophic flood that caused severe damage and forced the closure of our building for the entire 2025–2026 school year. For our seniors, this loss means more than just a building; it’s the loss of familiar halls, treasured traditions, and a place to share their final year together. It's a powerful moment of unity and excitement, especially this year, which carries more emotional weight. After the loss of their school building, our students deserve to feel seen, supported, and celebrated from day one.
As parents of the Class of 2026, we are determined to make this year extra special for our seniors despite the challenges. In a typical year, senior parents would spend months fundraising for events like:
- First & Last Day Sunrise Breakfasts
- Senior Class Shirts
- Senior Trip
- Movie Nights
- Special Prizes & Gifts
These activities build class unity and create memories that last a lifetime. This year, we want to not only preserve those traditions but also create new ones that turn adversity into a positive and uplifting experience for our students.
The Oneida community has always rallied around its youth. Already, parents and students have received heartfelt messages from alumni, neighbors, and friends asking how they can help. This fundraiser is one way you can show your support.
Any funds raised will go directly toward senior events, activities, and keepsakes. If any money remains after their graduation, it will be passed down to the underclassmen—just as the Class of 2025 generously passed their remaining funds to this year’s seniors.
Our first big event, the Senior Sunrise Breakfast, happens on the morning of the first day of school. This beloved Oneida tradition is just weeks away, and we simply don’t have the time for traditional fundraising before it happens. The Sunrise Breakfast is just the beginning. We have a full year of events to plan, from class shirts, movie nights, and prizes, to the senior trip and special end-of-year celebrations. These moments are what turn a tough year into a meaningful, unforgettable one.
But we can’t do it alone. We need ongoing support to make each of these events happen. Your donation today helps launch the year with positivity, but continued giving and sharing will ensure the Class of 2026 gets the full senior experience they deserve, despite everything they’ve faced.
In addition to this fundraiser, keep an eye out throughout the year for other ways to support, like Brown Brothers BBQ night, bottle and can drives, and donation opportunities. Every contribution, big or small, brings us one step closer to giving these seniors a year to remember.
Every donation, no matter the size, will help us give these students the senior year they deserve. Every dollar makes a difference. Let’s keep the momentum going, together. All funds will go directly to student activities and events. No donations through this fundraiser are being used for flood relief or repairs.
Thank you for helping us show them that community spirit is stronger than any challenge. Oneida Strong!
