Rise Up for Amanda

Our beautiful friend and Arbonne sister, Amanda Sharp, gained her wings and entered heaven Friday, March 1, with tons of friends and family surrounding her. She battled cardiac carcoma (a very rare heart cancer) for three years and put up such a courageous fight. Amanda was an elementary school teacher and cheerleading coach. She became a part of Arbonne in September 2017, shortly after beating the cancer once. Twice more she battled this cancer, with multiple trips to M.D. Anderson in Houston. She had just been back from her second round of treatment this last time and the doctors there were pleased that the tumor was shrinking and reacting to the treatment. She came home to Joplin to be with her family and ended up being hospitalized and put in ICU with an infection in her blood. Two days later she passed away.
She and her husband, Preston, had discussed many hard things and Amanda’s biggest concern was her family being able to stay in the home she loved. They signed the papers for her home shortly after she beat cancer the 2nd time in June 2018. She was so excited for her kids to grow up there. They have Matthew, 17, Ethan, 14, Ava, 9 and Tristan, 7.
Amanda was an elementary school teacher and cheerleading coach. Preston is a middle school teacher and coach. Our goal is to raise enough money to pay off their mortgage so Preston doesn’t have to worry about that. Their only life insurance was from the school and of the $25,000, $15,000 of it is going to funeral expenses. We only need 500 people to give $280 and we can pay off their home. We know we can do that and honor Amanda’s biggest wish! Every bit of the money will go towards paying off their home. We also ask that you continue to pray for Preston, the kids, her family and friends and our team! One of her last texts to us was "I wanted so badly to be there tonight and hug your necks and thank everyone for the constant prayers and support. God is good and so are my Arbonne girls!!" Let's rise up and honor our dear sister Amanda!!!
Here is her obituary. https://masonwoodard.com/book-of-memories/3765406/Sharp-Amanda/index.php?fbclid=IwAR0kamUG64SQAC4ZshgVpKGT0SKAOyIjQbzZn4vDR-_MBATWyAjTW0oGX60
