At some point in our lives we have had the privilege to receive someone’s effort to pour into our lives. This might have been a parent, a boss, a teacher or pastor etc. Those whom I’m standing up for have never had this luxury.

Hi, my name is Heidy and I am fundraising for a Charity in Iganda, Uganda Africa. These children deserve to have a bed to lay on a place to call home. They reside in poverty stricken areas where their caregivers struggle on a day to day basis to meet the needs of the children. Magumba a college student that is 20 years of age and started an orphanage 2 years ago and works side by side with his older brother, they work together to make it day by day. Magumba was raised with a family of 7 and his biggest desire is to be rescued from poor status. Sadly, Magumba has expressed to me they sometimes just eat once a day. The children go to school barefoot and walk long distance to get there. Problems with sanitary napkins for the young girls, they are lacking proper medical care and difficultly with long distance to just acquire clean water. If these amazing individuals can have a chance of some sort of comfort with life and having the opportunity to even something as simple as having shoes, any donation can help transform life for them!

This fundraiser will assist in making Magumba’s dreams a reality and extend to the happiness and hearts of the children. The funds will help to support with purchase of land for a permanent home, construction materials, food, clean water, medication, school materials, clothes/shoes and so on. Whatever you feel in your heart is greatly appreciated.
