Rise for ruby

Hi guys ,

We will be taking part in the Clontarf half marathon on the 16th of November

This coming August, We have decided to climb Kilimanjaro in honor of Maura’s great friend Ruby. Ruby was taken away from us at a very young age. Ruby had an infectious smile and warmed the hearts of anyone lucky enough to meet her. Unfortunately, Ruby became sick and was misdiagnosed with swine flu. This misdiagnosis turned out to be bacterial Meningitis. Shortly after this discovery, we lost Ruby to a quick and devastating illness.

We hope to raise awareness about bacterial meningitis by raising money for the Meningitis Research Foundation, an amazing organization that helps children like Ruby and their families throughout diagnosis and after. We want to help prevent events like this from happening again. Any of the money raised will be directly donated to meningitis research foundation , anything at all donated would be greatly appreciated,
