Almost two years ago I created my business Ripple Effect, after transitioning out of my twenty-six year career as a middle school history teacher and volleyball coach. While I am meant to teach, public ed and I had come to the end of our relationship. I left because of a four letter word...S-O-U-L.
I knew I was to continue to teach but it had to be in another way.
Ripple Effect's tagline is "Creative Expression and Soul-Surfing" which refers to the creative art workshops, spirituality and empowerment classes, camps(for youth) and retreats that I offer. It is my mission to teach others (particularly women and girls) that everything they need is inside them and empower them to explore and nurture the relationship with themselves. www.rippleffect.me
This journey of owning my own business has been fun, challenging, scary, joyful and everything in between. I am doing what I am meant to do and want to reach as many people as I can. It's a big leap to go from being an employee to being the business owner.
I have been invited as one of only 30 to Mastin Kipp's exclusive business building retreat for spiritual entrepreneurs. www.wealthyhealer.com
Hundreds applied and of course I leapt at the chance to be a part of this two month training and week long immersion when I received the invitation. The funds raised here are for the two month program, a weeklong immersion retreat in Maui and travel expenses. The retreat is in mid April so is coming up very soon! This campaign is running until the end of MARCH.
It is not easy for me to ask for help as I work very hard to be independent and self-sufficient, however this opportunity is out of my budget. There is so much more I want to learn about running a successful, impactful and meaningful business and how I can increase my reach. This two month program will help me get to the next level in my business.
