Ripp Ryan Macek Medical Bills and Recovery

Hi my name is Jamie Thigpen. Our family suffered a terrible event last night. My nephew, 1 year old Ripp Ryan Macek, was injured in an accident and was life flighted to Memorial Hermann in downtown Houston. They were told to prepare for up to a month long stay to recover from his injuries. Ronald McDonald house is helping but the medical bills will be steep. Please help this family. If you know Chase and Kendall you know they will help anybody in any moment. Their hearts are as big as they come. Prayers are so important too. They moved mountains last night and God was there every step of the way not letting Ripp go. Please pray for Ripp, Chase, Kendall and Ripp’s 3 brothers. Ripp’s the sweetest little boy with this little raspy voice who loves to roar like a dinosaur, play with his brothers (bubbas) and his puppies. Anything outside is his jam and he loves his trucks. He has the oldest soul and such a big, hilarious personality. We just want him to get better and come home where he belongs. I’m going to attach what Kendall wrote on fb last night. I will update as it comes up. Thank you all so much.

Kendall: We need ALOT of prayers

Our sweet baby Ripp wanted to play with his bubbas so bad and resulted in an accident. In less than 2 minutes thats all it took for this horrific accident and we as parents can’t believe it happened.

Please pray for Ripp and our boys. We truly truly have already been gifted a miracle but are nowhere close to being out of the woods.

Ripp has a temporal and base skull fracture with a small brain bleed. He’s recieved a blood transfusion And by the power of god is so far accepting it. He’s on a ventilator and is trying to show it who’s boss (typical Ripp Ryan fashion). We need prayers for him to rest and let the medical staff and machines do the work. We are still waiting for him to calm down so we can complete 2 more mris to be able to take off his c collar. Then waiting for his neurosurgeons to review his scan and his ent to figure out what they want to do. Plastics came in and was very impressed. We have about 5 more hours that are extremely crucial and we are counting down the minutes.

Hug your littles. Less than 2 minutes with all hands on deck and now we are fighting for everything. The details aren’t important and for our kids sake we just need to focus on Ripp and pulling out of this and being his happy outdoor loving self.

We are blessed with a great village so know the power of prayer will continue to get us through.

I can’t believe I’m having to type this nor the fact that chase and I as parents can’t be there with our older boys to console them much less help take the pain away.

We love you baby boy. Mommy and daddy and your bubbas and family know how strong you are and love you beyond measure. You are our missing puzzle piece. You have kept us on our toes.

Thank you to everyone who has texted and shown up and who are keeping our home running. We can’t tell you how much we appreciate it.
