Ripley’s fight against leukemia

Donation protected
Hello all! As some of you may know, my sister Sydney and Jordan’s 2-year-old daughter Ripley was diagnosed this past week with leukemia- ALL (Acute lymphoblastic leukemia).

Ripley was having a few days of not feeling good this last month but overall at her check ups the doctors just wanted to keep monitoring some of her symptoms and didn’t think much of it. At Ripley’s 2-year-old check up some of her lab work was off and they realized her hemoglobin was dropping. She eventually was admitted locally for a blood transfusion and was stabilized to do a follow up appointment in Peoria.

In Peoria, more tests were ran and they were able to determine Ripley’s diagnosis. This past Friday, Ripley went in for surgery and had a port placed, some bone marrow taken, and they gave her some chemotherapy and blood while she was under.

She’s been recovering this weekend and is in good spirits. She’s such a strong little girl! We don’t know for sure how long she’ll be in the hospital but we all are hopeful in her recovery.

As you can expect, Jordan and Sydney do not want to leave her side. Jordan will be off from work, and Sydney is gonna try to keep working remotely from the hospital but as things get more hectic she may not be able to prioritize this. There are many financial needs they may need help with in the coming weeks. Sydney is 7 months pregnant with their next baby and will have to travel back in town sometimes for check ups and labs. As well as their 6 year old son, Jackson, will need to stay local due to school, so he will often need to be transported to visit his family as much as we can on the weekends.

There is a long road ahead and any support for the family will go a long way. If you are able to donate any amount and help with their financial burdens that would be greatly appreciated. Donations could help with gas, food, medical bills, and bills at home that they still need to stay on top of. If you are unable to donate please share and send your prayers for our little Ripley Wren as she goes on this battle.
