Hello my name is Anne Cornell. In March this year I began to recruit people who could knit or crochet to create a poppy cascade, to be ready by November this year for Remembrance Sunday. Sadly our local branch of British Legion had closed last year but there are many in the village who consider those men who died in WW1 and WW11 should be remembered. St Mary Magdalen Church holds an annual service and later Ripley Parish Council plan the add 5 fruit trees to our existing memorial orchard for those who died in WW11. I am so excited by how many knitters have joined our group and any monies raised will help with protecting the new trees from rabbit and deer damage. Any excess to costs will be given to Clandon British Legion.

Give £10 to help this fundraiser reach its target.
