Please help lay Johnny P to rest

As most, if not all, are already aware John Hugh Pennington did not survive his battle with Stevens Johnson Syndrome/TENS (sjssupport.org) which is believed to have resulted from his taking a drug called Lamictal.  He will be buried with his beloved brother, Kevin, following a graveside service at 1:00pm on Monday, May 16, 2016 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetary in Millville, New Jersey.  All are invited to attend.  Additional funds are needed to cover the costs of laying John to rest.


This campaign began with hope for a miracle and to assist John's family in traveling to his bedside in Salt Lake City, UT.  Through your kindness and generosity, John's father was able to see him before he passed (accompanied by John's younger brother and I).  Expenses associated with the funeral home in Salt Lake City contracted to transport John home as well as travel, lodging and food for John's sister and father exceed what has been donated here. 

Now, the tragic and painful reality is that John must be laid to rest, but there is no insurance coverage or other financial source accessible to the Penningtons to pay for these arrangements.  Thus, this campaign now seeks only what is truly necessary to help pay for the simple plans that have been made.

Regardless of what you are willing and able to give financially, please try to stay positive at this difficult time--no quarrels, no debates, no misgivings, no negativity.  Set any you may have aside....for John's sake and the sake of the loved ones he leaves behind.  Let us gather in his honor and memory bringing with us only what we all have in common--love for John and grief born of this terrible loss.  We will all miss him for the rest of our days.
