RIP Stephanie Cotton

City seminole/SYAA/Seminole Chiefs lost one of our volunteers/friends on Friday October 8, 2021 unexpectedly at the age of 43. Stephanie served on the board for several years volunteering her time while raising two boys (Al and Jonas). She was a single mom and working full time. She took on task of team mom coordinator plus team mom to her sons teams. This job was not an easy one and required a lot of her time which she had little of. She made huge impact on our origination and was loved by all. They did not have much but they had each other. The boys are her world and she was always there supporting them. Your commitment and dedication to Seminole youth athletics was greatly appreciated.

 

In 2016 Stephanie bought her first home and she was very proud of this accomplishment. She spent a lot of time fixing it up and making yard pretty. Her boys would like to remain in the home. This fundraiser will help them get started in this trying time by covering the mortgage payment including taxes and insurance. I think this would make Stephanie smile because I assist her in this purchase and know how important it was to her. I will personally help the boys make payment and give them direction on being a homeowner.
