On Friday morning, July 18th, 2025, my boyfriend Alex lost his best friend of nearly 20 years, Richie, in a tragic single-car accident.

Richie’s sudden passing has left a huge hole in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him.

He was an incredible father, partner, brother, son, uncle, and friend — a man who gave his whole heart to those around him.

Richie and his girlfriend of 12 years, Cheyenne, have an almost 5-year-old son, Steven, who has special needs. Richie was a full-time, stay-at-home dad, devoted to providing Steven with the care, love, and attention he needed every day while Cheyenne worked to support their family.

Now, Cheyenne and Steven are not only grieving the unimaginable loss of their partner and father, but also facing an uncertain future without the man who was the heart of their home.

Alex and I are raising funds to help cover immediate expenses — including funeral costs, basic living needs, and to help provide some stability for Cheyenne and Steven during this incredibly difficult time.
