Rafat Saeed was a loving husband and step-father to two girls aged 15 and 12, whom he raised as his own. Rafat was a 36 year old Muslim Iraqi man who came to this country to escape the war. Rafat obtained his citizenship just last week, then passed away. He was shot and killed point blank during the holy month of Ramadan. Rafat was the sole provider for his family, and now his family is at a loss. He was one of the nicest people and was loved by everyone who knew him. He always did everything for anyone without thinking twice, he was there for anyone at anytime. Now their family is reaching out to society for help covering the cost of the funeral, and overall expenses they may need to cover to support the family.
