RIP "Grand Master" Luis Buenrostro

Luis started with JW Floor Covering in May, 2004, and worked steadily for us until
May, 2017. In early 2017, Luis developed a lump on his wrist which was determined to be cancerous. Luis endured surgery and subsequent chemo and radiation starting that month, and thankfully, in May, 2018, he came back to work full time. Unfortunately,
just two months ago Luis started feeling bad again, and asked not to be scheduled to
work until he felt stronger. Luis was unfortunately admitted back into the hospital for a lump on his side in early June. The doctors told Luis they would be unable to stop the
bleeding for this new cancer, and his only option would be extensive surgery, which
would have included removing his arm. Luis refused this option, preferring to spend
his remaining time at home with his family.
Luis passed away this past Saturday, July 13, 2019, accompanied by family and friends, as he wished.
Luis had a very strong faith in God, and was a preacher of the Word - Even in his last
days, he was sharing the Gospel with friends and co-workers.
He will surely be missed, and will always be known as "Grand Master." He will live in
our memories forever.
